Tropical Landscape Collage 16” x 20” Matted Wall Quilt. Grab your sombreros and shake your maracas, you’ll have a blast creating a tropical themed landscape collage quilt. You’ll discover how quick and easy it is to paint the colorful background fabrics using Tsukineko All Purpose Craft Inks. You’ll cut and position other fabrics into place, then stitch the layers together using free-motion raw-edge appliqué. You’ll embellish your tropical landscape with overlays of Angelina, tulle, and thread-painting. Everything you need to complete your colorful collage will be supplied in a comprehensive kit, including a framing mat. Your stunning completed art quilt will be suitable for framing and displaying on the wall. |

Shoreline at the Cape Size approximately 22 x 25 inches. Cabo San Lucas provides distinctive rock formations along the shore that you will recreate in the watercolor technique. Whether you have tried watercolor quilting before or not, Janet takes you through the steps and truly makes it easy as well as enjoyable. No mystery here - with precut squares in the required kit, you begin immediately into designing your own wonderful art piece. This will be a fond reminder of the fun while sailing off Mexican shores! |

Spider Web Size approximately 31 x 31 inches. There is nothing "creepy" about this 4-hour class project designed in celebration of Earlene Fowler's book titled "Spider Web" to be released shortly after the cruise. Strip piecing makes this an easy project, even for beginners, and the charming 3-D spider embellishment will complete the theme. You will be able to complete the project in time for Earlene to autograph it as a memento of the cruise! |

Across the Border Table Runner As we cruise and cross the border into Mexico, you will create an impressive table runner featuring a unique border print! In class you will use a wedge ruler, layer the fabric, cut, piece, and turn out a beautiful table runner. This was a very popular class on our 2009 Alaska cruise so we are delighted Eva will once again be offering this unique class on our cruise as well as additional fun optional Make It and Take It project during the Quilt 'til You Wilt sessions on the cruise. |

Underwater Reef in Cabo San Lucas An embellished art quilt approximately 14 x 22 inches in size. You won't need to put on your mask and snorkel for this one ....it's a one of a kind class Heidi has never taught before. Heidi will show you how to make a Cabo San Lucas memory quilt using a Fabulous Kaufman Artisan Batik as your textured background. You will learn simple straight stitch free motion techniques to enhance your quilt with a variety of threads. To add dimension to your art quilt, you will create seaweed and kelp fronds from Lutrador, Peltex, Kunin Felt, and Angelina Fibers. Don't worry if you have never embellished before as Heidi will show you the tricks and tools to add fibers, shells, charms, and beads. The kit includes all you need along with batting and backing so you can go home with a completed quilt. Be adventurous, get wet and wild without an air tank, and sign up for your journey under the sea. |

During class, Lisa's techniques will take the mystery out of piecing curves and reveal a curved border that is pure magic!! All fabrics in the class kit will be pre-cut and ready for you to start stitching. |

The pieced top, embellishments, backing, and thread will be included in your kit so you just show up ready to stitch! We'll do some simple hand stitching and embellishing during class. Then you can have the others on the cruise sign your quilt to show it off at the farewell party, take it home, hang it on the wall and remember what a good time you had on your cruise! |
